Day 0

Day 0 - Drove down (with Ben Wesley) fairly early, at the trailhead right at 11 am. Saw some antelope about a mile before the trailhead (1 buck and 6 does). After I unloaded, Ben took off. Took me about an hour to shuttle my crap a mile or so down the road (had to make 2 trips). Super hot by 11, more so as the day went on. Sat around, smoked and read and cooked in the heat. Clouded up at 5, so I set up my tent, still very hot inside, Dozed from about 6:15 to 6:50, when I got blasted awake by thunder. Rained and blew like crazy for about an hour. Finally went back to sleep about 8, woken up at 1 by more rain, again from 3 to 4, dozed a couple more hours, and awake at 7.
