Day 11
Day 11 – Woken up at 6 by rain, only lasts 5 minutes, my overhang protects me (no fly on tent). Sleep until 7:30, leave at 10. 2 hours 30 minutes to Jabba the Hutt campsite, about 45 minutes or so from South-Pictograph intersection. Get there, spring is back (was missing in 2004). Actually kind of cold water. Storm clouds roll through in waves, 3 or 4 times. Once a big black one just missed me to the south, only felt 2 drops. Clears up about 6, still clear at bed, but gusty all afternoon. Glimpsed 2 deer below the intersection. Saw what must have been a marmot just before Harvest Scene. Hummingbird in camp, keeps looking in my tent at me. A few bats. The secret grove is a little beat up, no longer green. Still a great camp, patio is so nice and convenient. Really hoping weather clears out and is hot and sunny again. Would help with my anxiety about leaving.
