Day 11

DAY 11 Warm night! Never got below 50 in my tent. Clouds gone in morning, had another warm blue day, windy in afternoon. Short hike again, 60 minutes to rim of SN Deer Canyon, then about 15 or 20 to head and find campsite. Plenty of water at head below small fall, may be a spring, nearby seeping wall. Got extra water, ended up washing hair in wind and cold. Took a hike down canyon on rim then dropped down and walked back up canyon bottom. Found weird site – the Hollows, 4 kind of cave, 1 showed clear signs of use – corn, soot, adobe. Other 3 have cracks in ceiling and have been washed out by water. Still got back about 2, set up camp, washed hair, screwed around, ended up in tent about 4”30 to 6 to avoid obnoxious wind. Very nice at sunset, wind gone, mild temp of 60 in tent at 7:50. Not complaining about warmth, but makes my bag toasty overkill. Really looking forward to tomorrow, going to try to get into Inaccessible House. Hopefully minimum of 1 more nice day (11 more would be alright too).
