Day 02

Up early, heard coyotes, breakfast and packing, filmed Foundation Ruin (no picture) before I took off. Saw a coyote in canyon bottom from the rim. Continued across slickrock and open country along the rim, noted Alcove House and Unnamed Ruin #1. Crossed paved road, then the old road, then the really old road. Saw Unnamed Ruin #2 from rim, climbed down to Wolfman Panel (& cave), then across to Mud House. Then I rimwalked to the head of the entrenched part of BW, crossed the dry streambed, and camped at the edge of the slickrock. Sparse water, found a couple of nearly empty puddles that I scrounged enough out of. Lazy afternoon, reading and getting water. Very warm again, cool breeze dies about noon. Got cloudy as sun went down, made for a very nice sunset and a warm night.
