Day 07

Some wind in the night, but a mild morning. Pretty warm day, just occasional cool breezes. No clouds. Took a bit of a bath. Did long day hike in morning: back a couple of canyons, found the poles of a Hogan near the mouth of Coldwater Cave's canyon. Up to CW Cave, spent a lot time there. Climbed out the steps at the top of the canyon, then across and up to look across to Eagle's Nest. Then back down and up canyon to see Ladder Panel. Then way up again to come to just above Eagle's Nest. Steps looked horrible, so I chose not to climb down. Found a nice Black Diamond harness, which I took, along with a bit of hardware. Down and over to Hidden House, then ended up back in camp. Scared up 2 owls just before returning to camp. Dropped harness and went up to Bachelor Pad/Porch Ruin. Back to camp by 3. Finally took a little time to relax and lay around. Took a bath and read a lot. Grabbed a little more water, a little more reading, then dinner and bed time. Cold, but calm. Hope it stays that way.
