Day 04

Day 4 - Up ridge and across washes for about an hour to road. 75 minutes up and up and up the road (very nice road). Nice vies of sides of Abajo. Finally hit Cream Pots road. In and out of burned area, road not so great. Nice views, raves by a peak taunting me. 1 hour on this road. Then down the Cream Pots Trail - down and down! (FYI - This trail would be incredibly lame to go up). Finally in Hammond Canyon. Good size running stream. Nice spot in trees, a little shady. Day started nice, got windier as it went on, cold wind and stormy looking at dinner time. Finally rained just after I ate. Rained for an hour. Smells great. Tons of birds down here.
