Day 11

Day 11 - Made my break today. Very nice morning, but cold (frozen boots). Slow packing. Wade thru snow downcanyon, pottery at 1st lunch site. Out of snow after exiting Hammond Canyon. Walk down the Cottonwood Wash road to just south of the turnoff of Road 092 (the road I was on on day 4). Found an old abandoned road cut-off I used for a campsite. Very nice, mild evening. Socks soaked, but boots somewhat dried out. Nice sunset. In morning find pottery and worked stone on ridge that this old road cuts thru. Heard someone drive past about 4 am.
