Day 07

Day 7 - Rest Day. Rained, hailed, sleeted, snowed, thundered and lightninged intensely most of the night. Got up at 7, had to go back to bed at 7:30 because it started raining and sleeting. Laid around til 12. Very breezy. Tried to hike down to the lake - Michele turned around, Mike and I made it well past the high water mark, but it became endless silt flats covered with sticker bushes, so we turned around. Very strenuous hike, quite a cold day thought the sun finally came out at noon. Another cold night that evening.
