Day 15

Day 15 - Another very long day. From the spring, up dirt road thru Calf Creek Canyon(?), into the eastern Beef Basin, then up a cattle trail to the ridge. Very cold and windy all day. Across top and down west fork of the Bright Angel Trail. Mike cruises ahead and goes wrong way. Off track by the time I catch him and Michele, and we do some cross-country climbing to get back on trail. Finally reach camp about 4:30 just outside the park boundary in Salt Creek. Snows on us as we make dinner, and snows in the night. Almost done!
