Day 09

Day 9 - Cool and cloudy morning until about 9, then hot and clear. Finally a good day of weather. Went up the North Fork. Open until Great Falls Fork, then a long stretch of heavy undergrowth, with lots of water and lots of bushwacking. Then it opens up a bit and dries out. Found the Crack, right where I thought it would be. Very, very cool slot, but short. Then clear back to camp. Just under 6 hours total. Went up Two Toad Canyon, scared up the 3 deer whose tracks I had been seeing for days. Got water, dinner, bed. Clear night, very good day.
