Day 01

Day 1 - Left work early, out of Orem by 4:20 made it to Green River by 7:30. Into the Maze, got permit, drove out to Flint Seep (pretty rough road), left all my stuff, drove back to ranger station and left truck. A long, long walk back to my stuff, incredibly tired. Nice views of Elaterite Basin, Happy Canyon, Millard Canyon, Bagpipe Butte, Elaterite Butte, and Ekker Butte. Hot and cloudy. Passed one person in a jeep. Just over 3 hours for 12-14 miles. Looked around the Flint Seep campsite, but didn't go to cabins (way too tired). Lots of birds along hike. Early to bed.
