Day 03

Day 3 - Easy day. Incredibly hot. Dayhiked up past the spring and found Cedar Bark Ruin, as well as 2 overhangs (one probably occupied by indians, one probably not). Cedar Bark Ruin very cool, complete roof still with cedar bark covering, complete walls. Then I hiked down the canyon and found the pictograph panel - Eight Red Men Panel. Four large, four small, some with designs carved into chests. A little faded and blurry, but still pretty good looking. Bad news back at camp; big red fuel bottle burst (top blew out), spilling some of the fuel. Went back to the road and got a glass soda bottle I had seen the day before on the way in, now going to use it to carry fuel in. Going to have to shave a couple of days off due to lost fuel, so I changed my itinerary.
