Day 09

Day 9 - Rained off and on all night, pouring hard in morning from 7 to almost 12:30. Dayhiked to pouroff at end of Water Canyon, 1 poor ruin. Bird fighting large cricket at spring, chipmunk ran right up to me before he realized what I was. Hiked up to the pass into Shot Canyon, hiked up Water a ways. Short day, finally cooled off, still windy. Found nice bighorn sheep half buried in sand in streambed.
