Day 11

Day 11 - Very low on fuel. Spend the day hanging out, a little bit of rain in the night and in the morning. Get together some water and move to the bottom of the Maze Overlook Trail. Group of older people (in their 60's?) come down the trail. I fix my dinner early, and climb up to the top about 5. Hang out at my little spot, really windy and quite cold. As sunset nears, weather gets really cloudy and stormy. Head up the road, hoping to get into camp before it rains. Just get around Elaterite Butte when the storm rolls off the cliffs and comes flying right down on top of me. Rain, wind, and lightning are everywhere, and I run down the road until I finally find a tree. Throw up my tent in pounding rain and mud, climb in and collapse.
