Day 04

Day 4 - Slept in again, woke up to a very warm morning. Blue skies and very warm. Older fellow and his daughter showed up just as I was leaving. Hiked up the side canyon, then across pass into Squaw Canyon. Up a long ladder, then some Moqi steps, then down another ladder to get across pass. Saw 2 different guys dayhiking alone. Ate lunch at turnoff to Lost Canyon (SQ2 - a so-so camp), then up a steep drainage, and across slickrock to pass into Lost Canyon. At pass a couple caught up to me (dayhikers) - might be the same couple I saw at Druid Arch yesterday. Steep drop-in to Lost Canyon, then down narrow canyon bottom. Lots of water. My campsite is on left side of canyon just as it starts to open up (LC3 - very nice). Good thing I wasn't here any earlier, it looks like it just dried out. Nice site back in the trees. Warm all afternoon, even at bed time. Wash hair, pump water, dinner, bed.
