Day 08

Day 8 - Cold night, quickly got warm when sun comes up. Headed up the West Fork. Intermittent water most of the way. Deer sign all over, never did see any. Water ends about half hour before I want to camp. Started to get into pine. Finally reach the area of the pass, about run out of canyon. Scout out a likely route to take in the morning. Looks steep, but nothing dangerous. Look around forever for water, just about to give up and melt some snow when I find some up a little side wash. Decent campsite, going to be cold and shady in the morning. Finally got my "bath" - very cold. Pump water, read, smoke,dinner, bed. Very nice sunset.
