Day 0

Day 0 Shane and Kathy pick me up and we drive down. Surprised to find a lot of snow on the ground south of Moab. Get my permit and we do some dayhikes for the rest of the day. Go to Cave Spring, see the old cowboy camp and the rock art. Do the very short Roadside Ruin hike. Finally do the longer Slickrock Trail hike with Kathy. Nice views, some fun slickrock hiking. Go to campground and watch movies in the car until I can't stay awake anymore (about 8). Pretty cold night.
