Day 12

Day 12 - Another warm night, another hot day. Packed up and headed downcanyon. Saw a good looking ruin on an inaccessible shelf. At the next main fork left my pack and walked up a bit to find a ruin. A bit of a tricky climb up a lot of slickrock, but I made it up to it - just a good size granary with no roof. Back to pack, then downcanyon. Quickly came to park boundary. Bunch of arches and a natural bridge. Went a mile or so further, spotted a ruin in a cave. Walked up a sidecanyon and camped after the water stopped flowing. Short day so far, so I walked back to the ruin in the cave to get a better look. Really nice ruin, at least 5 structures in a really big cave, bu no way to get up into it. Can see some Moqi steps coming out of the cave but they stop about 20' off the ground. Back to camp, got water, set up camp, the usual. Warm night again.
