Day 3

Day 3 - Slept horribly, gut going all night. Crossed river at camp, went and check out cabin. Hot already. Worked my way upriver. Feeling still better, but my stomach hurts. Found a hidden panel of rock art while looking in some rocks for shade. Crossed river a second time, traversed around rincon and past Jenny Canyon, realized I wasn't going to make it to Long Canyon. Found campsite on river from last year’s kayak trip, stopped there at 1:30. Nice beach. Went swimming/bathing in river. Spotted more rock art directly across river, waded across and took picture. Named it 3 Sided Rock Petroglyphs. Got cloudy and windy a couple of times, but no rain. Logs of bugs, especially in evening. Saw bats, hawks. Bobcat tracks in mud along bank. Definitely feeling better, but water still playing havoc with my guts. Very short day tomorrow I hope.
