Day 2

Day 2 River tighter and deeper, only occasional dragging when we weren't paying attention and got out of the main channel. Gorge keeps getting deeper and more beautiful. No real rapids. Even if you went into one and got stuck, you could step out of the kayak in knee deep water and move the boat off the rock. Nice and hot. Stopped to camp at Sams Mesa Canyon, a lot of wildflowers in bloom, nice sunset.
